SMARTci® (on closed framing) air- and water-tight continuous insulation & building enclosure Z-girt sub-framing for rainscreen and cladding support

SMARTci® is an air- and water-tight building enclosure system that eliminates thermal bypass and is comprised of Class I GreenGirt CMH continuous insulation Z-girts, integrated custom-profiled insulation panels, ThermaLock technology, and necessary accessories. SMARTci can be installed over traditional closed framing with sheathing and a water-resistive barrier for water tightness to 1.57 PSF and air tightness to 6 PSF (WRB/sheathing provided by others). The CMH design of SMARTci systems combines the thermal efficiency of composite fiberglass materials with the durability of steel-reinforced flanges to maximize high-quality performance of your building enclosure system. To meet the needs of your project, the SMARTci system is available in depths of 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, and 8 inches, with custom-routed rigid insulation held together with composite fiberglass pressure seals to achieve thermal efficiencies up to 92-99%.
