The company started in 1967 as a purely service-oriented business, concentrating on large kitchen equipment and medical technical equipment for the healthcare sector. Over the years the company has built up a wealth of know-how concerning large kitchen equipment and its use. Developing our first product in 1997 was therefore not such a dramatic step. The Getinge steam boiling pans have been widely accepted by caterers, and have gained quite a large share of the market in a relatively short time. Getinge Storkök´s philosophy is to develop and improve products in co-operation with customers and retailers, and in doing so live up to our motto: Quality and ergonomics without compromise!
