Storängen Design

In early 2017 Mårten Cyrén and Torbjörn Källberg established Storängen Company – an idea 15 years in the making. Between them they had a well-established network of designers, craftsmen and makers, together with a portfolio of furniture based on timeless ideals and modern Scandinavian design.

Among these designs was Storängen. A bold and charismatic offspring of the classic Windsor chair with uncompromising functionality and craftsmanship. This was the product to give the company its name and with it came a simple idea: creating a direct and honest link between the craftsmen making the furniture, and the professional and private buyers they were intended for. Storängen furniture is sustainably sourced, classically designed and manufactured with a combination of traditional skills and modern techniques. It is furniture to last a life-time.
