SteelGuard Straight with Narrow Lead Post

Won-Door SteelGuard Horizontal sliding, accordion-type fire door systems meet all IBC and NFPA criteria for use in a means-of-egress without occupant load limitations in all occupancy types except Group H.

Due to their wide span opening capabilities, the Won-Door SteelGuard horizontal sliding fire door allows for the unimpeded flow of pedestrian traffic as well as open plan designs. All Won-Door SteelGuard products are manufactured per application allowing for more freedom of design.

When the width of your strike wall is limited, a narrow leadpost on the SteelGuard door provides a secure and robust seal with a 4” recess. The narrow leadpost also allows for curved track configurations with a radius as tight as 5’.

Won-Door SteelGuard doors are a single source assembly that eliminates the expense and associated maintenance costs of metal frames, astragals, etc.

SIZE LIMITATIONS
Won-Door SteelGuard doors with narrow lead posts are specifically designed for straight, single parting applications that are up to 40 feet wide and up to 15 feet in height. For widths greater than 40' and heights greater than 15' please see the FireGuard product line.
