King's College Student Success Center

King’s College partnered with Kimmel Bogrette Architecture + Site to transform the aging Corgan Library into a welcoming, 9,000-square-foot Student Success Center designed to support collaboration, accessibility, and student well-being. The project consolidated previously scattered student services into one central destination, shifting the campus culture through openness, light, and intentional material selection. Wilsonart Woodgrains® in Fawn Cypress 8208K-16 were used throughout the interior to deliver the warmth and visual continuity of natural wood while outperforming traditional veneer in durability, maintenance, and cost efficiency. Precise grain-matching and coordinated edgebanding helped unify the space and elevate the overall design, demonstrating how high-performance laminate can achieve a premium aesthetic in high-traffic educational environments.
