The story of Ovella began when the founder’s son’s bicycle was stolen during band practice. This event inspired the development of products designed to reduce chaos and prevent theft. Almost overnight, the company’s strategy changed from operating as an office machine shop to becoming a bicycle rack manufacturer.
In 2000 the company developed the worlds first mobile phone operated bicycle parking system. Today Ovella Systems Oy manufactures and markets bicycle parking systems for indoor and outdoor use and has delivered solutions to London with plans for Birmingham in Great Britain.
Ovella racks are easy to use, safe, durable and high quality. They are made of painted or galvanized steel. The solutions are efficient, secure and cost effective. Installation instructions and mounting brackets are included when needed.
