Gävle Municipality and NCC
When Gävle Municipality and NCC planned the new residential area Godisfabriken, there was a clear ambition: to create a pleasant and sustainable environment – all year round. In the large central square of the area, ground heating from LK Systems has now been installed to keep surfaces free from snow and ice even during the winter. As a nod to the site’s history, ground heating was also installed to keep the Brio candy pieces free from ice and snow. Previously, a historic factory stood there, where products such as Läkerol and Brio were manufactured. A fun, custom solution.
