Empowering Green Mobility: Sustainable Electrical Upgrades at Alicante Airport
This project highlights the modernization of the 2,300-space parking facility at Alicante-Elche Airport, where an advanced electrical infrastructure was implemented to support new electric vehicle charging points. The primary challenge involved the highly corrosive coastal environment, which was addressed using Aiscan’s C8-rated steel cable trays, offering maximum corrosion resistance and a perforated design for optimal thermal management. As a result, the airport has achieved a safer, more sustainable, and durable installation that complies with strict European safety standards while reducing long-term maintenance costs.
