ACOUSTIK™ Acoustical – Rubber Flooring Underlayment

ACOUSTIK™ Recycled Rubber Flooring Underlayment
Sustainable, High-Performance Sound Control

ACOUSTIK™ is a high-performance acoustic flooring underlayment made from recycled rubber—delivering a durable, cost-effective solution for impact sound and vibration control. Designed for use beneath hardwood, laminate, and tile flooring, ACOUSTIK™ helps reduce footfall noise and structural vibration, improving STC and IIC ratings in a wide range of flooring assemblies.

Manufactured with sustainability in mind, ACOUSTIK™ repurposes rubber from post-consumer vehicle tires, keeping waste out of landfills while providing a resilient, moisture-resistant layer that won’t compress over time like cork or other natural materials. Its dense, elastic composition adds both sound and thermal insulation, while also protecting subfloors from damage and extending the life of finished surfaces.

Key Features:

  • Superior impact and airborne noise control
  • Made from 100% recycled rubber
  • Comfortable, resilient, and thermally insulative
  • Easy to install with DA5 adhesive
  • Compatible with most finished flooring systems
  • Available in multiple thicknesses: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2"
  • Sold by the roll in convenient sizes
  • May contribute toward LEED® credits

Roll Sizes:
