Carl Stahl ARC GmbH offers architectural solutions worldwide with stainless steel cables and nets, e.g. in zoo enclosures, railing infills, stainless steel cable nets for fall protection, façade greening and LED lighting modules. Carl Stahl has specialised in ropes since 1880, from natural fibre ropes to wire ropes and hoists. The "Architecture" division was established in the 1990s. With many years of experience, the company develops optimised and economical solutions for customers, primarily with I-SYS stainless steel wire rope systems and X-TEND stainless steel wire rope mesh systems. These are widely used indoors and outdoors, e.g. as railing infill, fall protection, façade cladding and design elements. Carl Stahl offers a complete service from consultation to installation. Production in Europe fulfils high quality standards and is subject to constant monitoring by testing institutes in accordance with European technical approvals for I-SYS and X-TEND. The ETA-22/0257 was issued for vertical and horizontal fall protection with X-TEND cable mesh systems, the ETA-10/0358 for I-SYS cable tension members for a wide range of tensioning cable solutions.

Wendlingen wooden parking garage
The new Wendlingen multi-storey parking lot sets standards in sustainable construction and modern mobility. With 349 parking spaces and an innovative timber construction, a building has been created that is not only practical but also future-oriented. Thanks to screw connections and the absence of composite materials, the parking garage can be easily dismantled at a later date and the materials recycled. The design is already thinking about the possibilities of tomorrow: the parking levels are designed so that they can later be converted into living or working spaces. The ramp system? This can be dismantled to create space for a green inner courtyard - a solution that combines environmental friendliness and urban planning. For the greenery X-TEND® stainless steel cable meshes were installed. A total of 236 m² with a mesh size of 100 mm and 1,103 m² with a mesh size of 200 mm, each with a cable diameter of 3.0 mm, ensure maximum safety and a transparent appearance. The meshes are covered with greenery so that the parking garage is enveloped in living greenery and becomes an architectural highlight. The Wendlingen multi-storey parking lot is an impressive example of how mobility, sustainability and modern design can be harmoniously combined.
