A new life for a manufacturing plant: design, recovery and valorization.
The approach to the revitalization of Elysium offers both aesthetic and functional solutions to transform passive buildings into virtuous ones. The refurbishment project of the LOGISERVICE warehouses, at Scanzano Jonico (MT), is a concrete example of this method. The building concerned was a prefabricated reinforced concrete warehouse constructed in the 1970s, fallen into disuse. Our integrated approach led to the structural refurbishment of the building. Key changes included the installation of a new roof, new facade cladding, a 200 kWp photovoltaic system, and structural enhancements for seismic protection.
