Quick-Fit Clamp with Pin and Silicone Seal

Nordfab manufactures ducting for use in dust, mist, and fume collection systems.

The key component in Nordfab's Quick-Fit® clamp-together ducting system is the easy-to-use Quick-Fit Clamp. The Clamp allows quick connections for Nordfab’s Quick-Fit (QF®) modular ductwork. Quick-Fit Ducting is ideal for dust collection and process ventilation systems, saving time and money on installation, future relocations, and cleanouts. Quick-Fit is also adaptable to existing ductwork.

Silicone seal material is an economically priced option for operating temperatures above 158° F and has an extremely broad temperature range capability. Nitrile is our standard seal material and ePTFE is an additional option. View our guide to selecting the best seal material for your application.

Clamps come standard from Nordfab with Nitrile seals and bridge pin for locking clamp into closed position. Specify silicone seal when needed

Galvanized clamps supplied with galvanized bridge pin. 304SS clamps supplied with SS bridge pin. 3″ to 6″ Clamps: Small bridge pin with 3/8″ wide Nitrile seal from factory. 7″ to 11″ Clamps: Large bridge pin with 1/2″ wide Nitrile seal from factory. 12″ to 24″ Clamps: Large bridge pin with 5/8″ wide Nitrile seal from factory. 1. Construct ducts of galvanized sheet steel unless otherwise indicated. 304SS Optional.
2. Basis-of-Design Product: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide Nordfab Ducting, LLC; Quick Fit (QF) Duct.
B. Connection Joints: Joint types are fabricated in accordance with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," for static-pressure class, applicable sealing requirements, materials involved, duct-support intervals, and other provisions in SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible."
1. Quick Fit Joints in Ducts 3 to 24 inches (76 to 510 mm) in diameter. Flange: Optional.
2. Flanged Joints in All Ducts Greater than 24 inches (610 mm) in diameter.
C. Longitudinal Seams: Seam types are fabricated in accordance with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," Figure 3-2, "Round Duct Longitudinal Seams," for static-pressure class, applicable sealing requirements, materials involved, duct-support intervals, and other provisions in SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible."
1. Fabricated round ducts 3 to 24 inches (76 to 510 mm) in diameter to have laser-welded or plasma-welded longitudinal seams.
2. Fabricated round ducts above 24 inches (610 mm) in diameter to have plasma-welded longitudinal seams.
