An energy efficient, space saving, fire and moisture safe external wall construction with ISOVER ULTIMATE and glass wool, suitable for single and multi-family houses. On the outside the ISOVER facade panel 31 provides a comprehensive insulation layer with minimal thermal bridging. On the inside, there is an installation layer with ISOVER ULTIMATE UNI-skiva 36 which protects the internal vapour retarder, ISOVER Vario Xtra alt. ISOVER plastic foil, from being unnecessarily perforated during installation. The cladding layers on the inside, consists of one layer gypsum board, Gyproc GN Normal and one layer wooden fiberboard, type OSB, which is a reinforced layer behind the gypsum board for fixations of e.g. paintings. On the outside is the wind barrier ISOVER VEMPRO™ Vindskydd. For optimal sound insulation, primarily traffic noise, you get the best effect if the two vertical wooden profiles are not mechanically fixed to each other and the gypsum board is installed behind the facade panel.
