Fixed Curb Mount Skylight (FCM) for roof slopes 0 - 60 degrees

VELUX Fixed Curb Mount skylights (FCM) are designed for commercial and residential flat and sloped roof applications.  Daylighting provided through VELUX skylights improves the energy efficiency and visual comfort of these residential and commercial spaces.  The VELUX FCM skylight is a category leader with a maintenance free frame, structural seal, and durable thermal pane options with performance levels meeting project specifications.  The thermal pane glazing options carry a 20-year warranty against seal failure and feature a specially formulated LoE3 – 366™ coating.  This coating, specifically designed for skylight applications, provides a high visible light transmission while reducing solar heat gain and UV penetration.

The FCM comes in a wide choice of glazing options:

• Tempered Safety (05) glass – Standard thermal pane with Low E3 for in reach applications
• Impact (06) glass - Special safety glass with Low E3 designed to meet high velocity hurricane zones
• Laminated (04) glass – An additional layer of safety with clean coatings to provide better protection and sound control. 
• White Laminated (08) Glass – all the features described in the 04 pane but with a white vinyl inner layer
• Many more options available

The FCM skylight is available in 13 standard sizes, which are stocked nationally to ensure quick delivery.  In addition, the FCM in available in custom sizes up to 50 ¾” x 76 ½”.  If a larger size curb mount glass skylight is needed, specify the VELUX SkyMax (GSM) large span curb mount skylight that is available in custom sizes up to 32 sq ft.  The VELUX SkyMax can span 10’.

• Light Filtering Solar Powered Single pleated blinds in many color options
