Tigre ADS Water Quality Unit

The Tigre ADS HDPE Water Quality Unit is your solution for trapping hydrocarbons and total suspended solids (TSS) from stormwater.

Two weir plates act as trapping devices as the storm water flows through surface drainage structures and into the water quality unit. This structure also incorporates the use of a bypass system, which prevents re–suspension of captured solids by diverting water flows greater than 'first flush'.

Tigre ADS HDPE Water Quality Units are durable, lightweight structures specifically designed for fast installation and easy maintenance. Made from high–density polyethylene DrenPro drainage pipe, these units are resistant to abrasives and chemicals typically found in storm water and surrounding soils. And when site conditions require higher levels of treatment, the Tigre ADS Water Quality Unit becomes an integral part of a multi–tiered approach known as the treatment train.

The Tigre ADS Water Quality Units are sections with sedimentation boxes at specific locations and heights to remove high percentages of sediments and oils from the first discharge of a rainfall event.
They can be installed at any point in the subsoil drainage system, and are suitable for treating "hot spots" in existing rainwater lines. The unit is designed employing the fundamental principles of Stokes' Law and a standard orifice exit control. The settling velocity of a particle is calculated based on the smallest particle to be removed. Standard units offer a choice of 140 or 200 sieve size removal (particle sizes of 106μ and 75μ, respectively).
