Thioflex 555 - Pavement joint sealant

Thioflex 555 is a 2-component polysulfide sealant for the sealing and maintenance of joints in concrete roads, concrete runways and hard standings. It is particularly suitable for sealing areas where fuel spillage might occur such as aircraft fuelling areas, oil terminals, garage forecourts, parking and cargo areas.

It is available in machine grade (ultra fast setting) and hand grade (fast setting). The machine grade is ideal for fast return to service and should be applied through a suitable metered application machine, by specialist applicators. It provides efficient safe application at high extrusion rates. The fast cure allows for a rapid return to service.

Joints shall be sealed, where designated, using Thioflex 555, a two-component, polysulfide self-levelling type sealant designed to meet requirements in pavement applications. The return to service time shall be about 30 minutes (at 20ºC) with machine grade and 4 hours with hand grade.
The sealant shall be applied strictly in accordance with the manufacturer´s written instructions.
