Slidemaster – With infill options for systems above single - Carbon steel gate

Automatic LPS1175 SR2 and Secured by Design cantilever sliding single leaf gate.

The SlideMaster™ cantilevered and tracked sliding gates are made to order and can be supplied with a height of up to 3 m with a drive through width of up to 20 m, all with 125 mm ground clearance. The main gate frame consists of upper and lower 75 mm square aluminium tube rails with the main uprights made from the same material. The gates can be infilled with any of the mesh panels from the CLD range or can have a standard 30 mm round bar infill at 125 mm centres – the frame and infill is then mounted on our custom made lower beam extrusion. The SlideMaster™ cantilever drive mechanism is unique in that the external friction drive is incorporated in the lower beam as opposed to the inside face of the gate therefore protecting it from the elements as well as being completely out of view. The automated SlideMaster™ cantilevered sliding gates are fully compliant with the EU standard BS EN 12453, having five profiled safety edges each consisting of two parallel electrically conducted rubber strips. These are connected to the main control panel by two cables, which are concealed within the lower beam, which transmit messages to and from the safety edges. In the unlikely event of a fault, messages will be transmitted to the necessary safety edges instructing the gate to be stopped regardless of its position.
