Cable-guided, front-mounted awnings are a textile, external sun shading system with awning fabric that is wound and unwound on a shaft. The lateral guidance uses slender tension cables in which the awning fabric is guided with the end rail. The awning fabric is housed in an extruded aluminium box located in front of the window
