Applications

Shell chair for temporary zones in the office environment. Seat height, seat tilt and
shell are designed for temporary activities.

Seat shell

One-piece polypropylene shell, up to 40% recycled material. Ergonomically shaped seat shell: visually constant outer contour combined with different wall thicknesses, in particular in the lumbar area. Wall thickness is 17 mm in the lumbar area, 6 mm at the backrest edge. Armrests (width 50 mm) directly integrated into shell at the height of the backrest. Armrest wings and wrap-around, rounded shape of the shell allow different arm positions for easier use of tablet PCs or smartphones.

Seat and backrest upholstery

15 mm thick flat upholstery with velour laminated foam and framed top edge of the
seat and backrest.

Upholstered cushion

Upholstered cushion, approx. 16 mm thick with an approx. 10 mm foam filling, sewn with 2 x approx. 3 mm layers of genuine wool felt, non-slip finish on the underside. Available in either grey or graphite; the underside is always anthracite.

Seat height adjustment

Continuous height adjustment by gas spring, cushioned in the lowest position by a plastic buffer. Height adjustment 400-490 mm with seat tilt of about 6° for slightly upright sitting position between an active and a relaxed seating position for use in combination with meeting tables.

Base version

Plastic star base with 5 arms, in black or clear white.

Castors

Hard castors for soft floors (e.g. carpet) with a diameter of 50 mm are supplied. Soft castors for hard floors are optionally available.

Castor colour depends on selected model colour: black for black, white for pure white

Glides

Plastic or felt glides can also be ordered instead of castors. The glides with a plastic surface can be used universally, the felt surface is especially suited for sensitive floors.
