Aluminum Horizontal Sliding Transaction Windows
These windows consist of fixed and sliding transparent bullet-resisting glazing, aluminum framework, hardware, and fasteners. The sliding panel allows for easy access to packages and communication with customers, especially in low-threat environments.
- Constructed using 1/8" thick aluminum tube and U-channel to support glass ballistic glazing
- Frame itself is not UL rated, but ballistic fiberglass rated UL Level 1, 2, and 3 can be inserted within the frames for added bullet resistance
- Compatible with stainless steel or plastic laminate countertops
- Available in fixed and sliding formats, including a 4-sided frame version
- Can be used as a standalone unit or as a system of connected transaction windows
OPTIONS
- Intended for interior use; exterior horizontal windows also available
- Finish options: Clear, Dark Bronze, or custom paint/anodizing
- No minimum size; maximum size depends on glazing sheet availability for required protection level
- Maximum glazing thickness: 1 3/8"
- Glazing types: Polycarbonate and Acrylic only
