Kugelgarn Resista® & Resista COLORpunkt®

The idea of using special mechanical processes to form spherical agglomerates from mixtures of staple fibres had already been invented by Fabromont. However, the resulting coverings were only suitable for residential use due to their limited durability. Resista was the first Kugelgarn® covering that was 100% suitable for commercial use thanks to its polymer composition and is still one of the most successful products in this sector today.

Specifikation

Solution-dyed fibres. Swiss Made, GuT seal, TüVprofiCert, class 33 suitable for chair castors in constant use, flame retardant with CE- and VKF certificate. Direction-free, suitable for use in damp locations, with flame-extinguishing layer. A pile layer of 60% polyamide and 40% polypropylene, a three-layer structure with the special fire protection layer in the middle. Medium spherical structure. Wear class 33 and comfort value LC 2 (“good”). Resista® is also available in a conductive option (in addition to the standard antistatic version), as self-laying modules, as self-laying sheeting, as acoustic flooring or as Quickstep® stair covering. 15 colour schemes.
