4-Post & Case Type Shelving

Attractive, versatile and easy to access, Spacesaver's 4-Post Shelving is a highly adaptable, cost-effective storage solution for virtually anything you wish to store. All Spacesaver shelving can be fitted with custom tops and end panels to integrate with a building's design and incorporated into a High Density Mobile System.

Uprights

Uprights consist of 18 ga. (1.2 mm) cold rolled steel formed into either a 2” (50 mm) wide “Tee” shape common post, or a 1” (25 mm) wide “Angle” shape end post. Keyhole-shaped slots are placed on 1-1/2” (38 mm) centers vertically on the inner face of the posts. “Closed” uprights shall have a 24 ga. (.60 mm) closure panel between the posts. “Open” type uprights shall have at least three 3” (76 mm) wide x 18 ga. (1.2 mm) spacers between the posts.

 Shelves

Standard 22-gauge (.75 mm) or heavy-duty 18-gauge (1.2 mm) patented universal slotted or plain shelves. For added safety, there are no exposed metal edges. Shelves supported with 11-gauge (3.1 mm) or 14-gauge (1.9 mm) shelf supports.

Unlimited Shelving Options

Designed to adapt to both stationary and mobile storage applications, Spacesaver's 4-Post Shelving System offers a comprehensive choice of options. To enhance their functional utility, individual shelving units can be equipped with lockable doors, storage and file drawers, bins and pull-out reference shelves, as well as a broad array of storage accessories, accommodating a wide array of materials.

Anti-Tip Protection

Our 4-Post Shelving can be equipped with anti-tip devices to help comply with seismic requirements, providing an extra measure of system stability and safety, even in seismically active areas.
