Fire PROtec² EW 30 C2

The fire curtain system Fire PROtec² EW30-C2 is a fire barrier with a classification of EW30 (limited heat radiation for more than 30 minutes). The fire curtain Fire PROtec² EW30 is wall mounted on the side facing the fire. Developing the Fire PROtec² EW30-C2, the main focus was to keep the headboxes small (150x182 mm with a maximum curtain size of 2.80 x 3 m and 180x212 for max curtain size of 4.40 x 4.47 m) and the visual quality high. The curtain will be delivered as a construction kit and can be mounted and installed easily which saves both time and money. Especially the "snap-in" mechanism considerably facilitates the installation of the pre-fabricated roller unit. As for the control units, SIMON PROtec offers two possibilities (with and without emergency power, + emergency open) with an approved locking panel. The fire curtain Fire PROtec² EW30- C2 is CE certified according EN 16034 - after the installation the system receives the CE marking and the Declaration of Performance.

Unwind: By force of gravity (gravity fail safe)
Windup: Via planetary geared-motor, 24 V DC, engine speed sensor, maximum torque 4 Nm, integrated into the winding shaft, including 2 m connection cable.
Installation: Ceiling, wall, vertical unwinding.
System size: 4.40 m x 4.47 m; System width ≤ 4400 mm, Unwinding length ≤ 4470 mm.
Head box (W x H): Galvanized sheet steel 1.5 mm (150 x 182 mm or 180 x 212 mm for drop over 3 m);
End section: Galvanized sheet steel 2.0 mm with integrated springs and unwind weights in fabric bag.
Side guides (optional): Galvanized sheet steel 2.0 mm, 58 x 95 mm (W x H)
