Continuous conveyors can pose a significant fire safety risk by creating a pathway between fire compartments. The Firehatch Temperature (EI) not only seals the wall opening but also prevents the transfer of heat through conveyors that pass through these openings. The hatch is integrated with the fire alarm system. When an alarm is triggered, the conveyor belt near the opening is cleared, and the hatch automatically closes, forming a secure physical barrier to contain fire and heat.

FAIL SAFE

The Firehatch Temperature (EI) is equipped with an external Gravity Fail Safe motor. In the event of power failure, the hatch will automatically close gently through stored mechanical energy (gravity).
