Easy Slide Doors

The Defender 76ES Easy Slide Door has a slender profile and easy slide hardware. It offers a budget-friendly yet aesthetically pleasing and functional alternative to our Lift + Slide Doors. The Defender 76ES Easy Slide Door is recommended for modest openings of less than nine feet wide and is available with 2 or 3 panels in a variety of exterior and interior finishes.

Easy Slide Hardware

The 76ES System offers an effective sealing system with two continuous EPMD weather seals. The force-controlled gears provide reliable compression from the handle to two locking hooks.

• High compression due to guiding and locking elements in each corner
• Wear-resistant locking bolts and hooks mounted on ball bearings made of high-quality cast brass
• PVC stops absorb the impact noise and prevent injury when closing the sash
• Multiple bogie wheels absorb the movement of the sash to gently raise and slide the sash quietly and weightlessly

Secure Ventilation

The handle can be turned horizontally for secure night venting. In the horizontal handle position, the door is locked but there is a small gap between the sash and the frame for ventilation.

Hybrid Framing System

The 76ES Easy Slide Doors are engineered with our exclusive Hybrid Framing System. The Hybrid Framing System features steel reinforced European uPVC profiles and fusion welded corners. The result is a door that has the performance and structural strength required for high-performance and durable homes.

Key Performance Data

All of our lift and slide doors are tested to the North American NFRC and NAFS standards. Available in double or triple glazing, the lift and slide door is Energy Star approved for all climate zones in Canada and the United States.
