Basic shaft awnings with drop arm are a textile, external sun shading system with awning fabric that is extended and tilted by the lateral drop arms and end rail. The awning fabric on the fabric shaft is supported laterally by fabric shaft consoles. Installation is done using the fabric shaft consoles in the on-site shaft or an on-site cover panel.
