To ensure compatibility with all control-room designs, the Critical Action Panel-Desk, referred to as a CAP Desk, comes in different standard sizes and layouts which makes it easy to customize and implement everywhere. The standard height of our 19“ panels is
9U, but can be customized to other heights to fit the need of different equipment's such as control buttons and com radios etc. The CAP-Desk is fully compatible with other ABB control-room products including the Cable Duct Tower that simplifies the cable handling.
Built to last
The ABB CRS´s (former CGM) CAP-Desk is a piece of complementary equipment for the control room environment. With a robust and accessible design, built according to the IEC 60297-3-100 standard, the CAP-Desk accommodates all standard Hard-Wired and special equipment on 19” racks in the panel box. The cables are arranged through cable entries from the sides, back and bottom which makes it possible to separate
power and network cables. The installed equipment stays accessible at all times through lockable doors with ventilation holes that keeps the electronic equipment in good condition.
