Flanged Pipe

Nordfab ducting is used in dust, mist, and fume collection systems. Contaminated air from machinery or processes is conveyed through pipe and other Nordfab® ducting from machinery or processes to a collector / filter, resulting in cleaner air in workspaces.

Nordfab® Flanged Duct Pipe is used when the pipe size must be greater than 24″ diameter or when flanged connections are required.

The rotational industry-standard Angle Flanges on our Flanged Pipes are retained by Van Stone lips on the pipe ends. Pipe length is nominally 5′.

Our Flanged Pipe has a laser welded seam which provides a leak-free seal. Elimination of air leakage makes a dust collection system more efficient, providing savings on energy costs.

Use with our Angle Flange Adapter for quick connections to QF Pipe and fittings.
Available in galvanized steel and 304SS or optional 316SS or carbon steel
Available with QF ends in diameters up to 24", and with other end types including flanges with custom bolt hole patterns

1. Construct ducts of galvanized sheet steel unless otherwise indicated. 304SS Optional.
2. Basis-of-Design Product: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide Nordfab Ducting, LLC; Quick Fit (QF) Duct.

Connection Joints: Joint types are fabricated in accordance with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," for static-pressure class, applicable sealing requirements, materials involved, duct-support intervals, and other provisions in SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible."
1. Quick Fit Joints in Ducts 3 to 24 inches (76 to 510 mm) in diameter. Flange: Optional.
2. Flanged Joints in All Ducts Greater than 24 inches (610 mm) in diameter.

Longitudinal Seams: Seam types are fabricated in accordance with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," Figure 3-2, "Round Duct Longitudinal Seams," for static-pressure class, applicable sealing requirements, materials involved, duct-support intervals, and other provisions in SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible."
1. Fabricated round ducts 3 to 24 inches (76 to 510 mm) in diameter to have laser-welded or plasma-welded longitudinal seams.
2. Fabricated round ducts above 24 inches (610 mm) in diameter to have plasma-welded longitudinal seams.
