Class 150 Cast Steel or Alloy Flanged End Basket Strainers - 185

Designed for chemical process applications including brine, paint, fuel oil, organic and inorganic chemicals as well as condensers and heat exchangers. This Series features an angular cutaway design of the basket to allow a straight through flow for extremely low pressure drop, and a tapped and plugged NPT drain on the strainer bottom for easy self-cleaning. Class 150.

- Suited for medium and coarse straining for brine, paint, fuel oil, organic and inorganic chemicals, as well as condensers and heat exchangers
- Sizes 1 1⁄2 in. – 20 in. (40 – 500 mm)
- Used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide economical protection for pumps and other mechanical equipment
- Cast Carbon Steel or Chrome-Moly Alloy body and 304 Stainless Steel basket strainer that allows a straight through flow for an extremely low pressure drop
