Rim Segments (aka open shapes, partial shapes) are available in various shapes, including 1/4-round, 1/2-round, and 3/4-round available in 2'-8' radii, as well as straight line segments ranging from 2'-12'. They can function individually as discrete luminaires, or they can be joined together to form new shapes that we refer to as Rim Systems. As with the rest of the Rim family, Rim Segments are
decorative with a sleek profile suitable in any interior environment, especially when combined with general lighting, wall wash, and/or perimeter effects. They are equipped with LED arrays illuminating inward toward the centre of what their full shape would be i.e., a circle. Rim Segment nominal light output ranges from 325 to 640 lumens per foot. It is also available with Chromawerx Sola, Duo, and Quadro.
