1x6 Airtight Joto-Vent

This product is designed to use with 1x6 Joto-Vent (model: KP-L150U)

The KPK-N140U Airtight Joto-Vent is used to create an air barrier between the garage and crawlspace and also can be used for slab on grade and entry areas. Use of the Airtight Joto-Vent allows for continuous use of the 1 x 6 Joto-Vent and consistent height around the entire perimeter of the foundation when used with the Joto-Vent. EPDM Foam strips and connectors on each end have been added to create an even tighter seal.

WE CAN'T BE CRUSHED!

With the Joto-Vent being installed between the concrete foundation and the sill plate, it supports the entire weight of the house. Some people may wonder "Will it crush?"

No, we can't be crushed. The vent is made of a composite material that consists of calcium carbonate, polyolefin resin and recycled plastics. It has an allowable load of 8,703 pounds per lineal foot of Airtight Joto-Vent. The sill plate will crush before crushing Airtight Joto-Vent.
