Description
Gold Bond® BRAND Hi-Impact® XP® Gypsum Board is an impact-resistant gypsum board with a heavy abrasion resistant paper and a specially formulated core with an embedded fiberglass mesh that provides excellent resistance to surface abuse and wall impact and penetration.
Hi-Impact XP Gypsum Board is designed to provide extra protection against mold and mildew compared to standard gypsum board products. Hi-Impact XP contains a fire-resistant Type X gypsum core that provides additional fire resistance when used in tested assemblies. Hi-Impact XP products are easily identified by National Gypsum’s original PURPLE™ color.

Advantages

Enhanced mold resistance per ASTM G 21 (0) and ASTM D 3273 (10).
Hi-Impact XP Fire-Shield Gypsum Board features a fire resistant Type X core and it is UL Classified and approved for inclusion in specific UL fire-rated designs.
Hi-Impact XP is GREENGUARD Children & Schools Indoor Air Quality Certified®.
