Roof Hatch - Ladder Safety Post

LadderUP® Safety Posts provide easier, safer ladder access through roof hatches, floor access doors, and manholes. This telescoping post permanently mounts to the top two rungs of any fixed ladder, providing a positive hand-hold that enables the user to enter or exit an opening in an upright and balanced position.

Uses and Applications
The ladder safety post remains attached to the fixed ladder at all times. When access is required, manually raise the post is to its extended position to provide a positive handhold throughout access. The post is spring balanced for ease of operation and automatically locks in the fully raised position. A handy release lever allows the user to lower the post back to its retracted position.

Materials and Finishes
Ladder safety post are available in steel with a safety yellow powder coat paint finish (model LU-1), Hot dip galvanized steel (model LU-2), Type 304 stainless steel (model LU-3),and aluminum (model LU-4) construction. All models are supplied with stainless steel mounting bolts.
