Alcon Lighting’s 16124 NSF-rated NEMA 4X LED exit sign provides durable emergency lighting for commercial and industrial kitchens. The corrosion-resistant polycarbonate enclosure features a high-impact UV-stabilized lens and molded gasket secured with stainless steel screws for watertight protection. Ultra-bright red or green LEDs ensure clear visibility, with universal knockout patterns for back mounting and an included canopy for top or end mounting. The 120/277V exit sign offers optional self-diagnostics with monthly, biannual and annual testing, plus an emergency backup with a long-life NiCd battery. NSF-rated for safe food prepartion areas.

Optional emergency battery: 4.8V long-life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCd battery. An internal solid-state transfer switch automatically powers the LED board for a minimum of 90 minutes during emergency operation. A fully automatic, solid-state, two-rate charger restores a discharged battery within 24 hours. A bi-color LED indicator provides status: green for normal operation, red for battery check.

Listings: Complies with UL924, UL844, NFPA101 Life Safety Code, NEC, OSHA, and applicable local and state codes. IP66 rated for protection against dust and water. Suitable for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D. UL Listed for damp locations (-20°C to 50°C). Certified to CEC Title 20 regulations
