Watts LOCKSMITH™ CAL‑100 Series acidic water neutralizing systems are designed for residential and light commercial applications to help stop corrosion of metal plumbing components and fixtures caused by acidic supply water with a pH of less than 7. These systems use high‑quality granular calcite media to neutralize acidity; as low‑pH water flows downward through the media bed, it reacts with and dissolves the calcite, raising the water’s pH from an acidic state toward neutral.

Each system features the Watts LOCKSMITH™ control valve with state‑of‑the‑art computer programming that increases efficiency by optimizing backwashing to clean the media bed while helping conserve water. Manufactured from high‑tech materials, the control valve has been engineered and tested to perform reliably in demanding environments.
