The SHEVTEC Modular Repeater Panel is designed to provide clear, real-time system status information for each smoke ventilation (SHEV) vent within a building. As part of a modular smoke control system, the repeater panel serves as an essential indication point for operational status, fault conditions, and vent activation states.
Typically installed near the main fire service access entrance, the panel enables rapid situational awareness for attending fire crews and maintenance personnel, supporting efficient system assessment during an emergency or routine servicing.
Although the SHEVTEC Repeater Panel is not a mandatory requirement under Approved Document B, SE Controls can incorporate it into system specifications to enhance visibility of system performance and improve overall building safety management.
This BIM object includes key technical data, connection details, and model attributes required for integration into digital design environments, supporting coordinated design, installation, and lifecycle maintenance of smoke ventilation systems.
