Vetonit - Masonry Grout Filler - Premixed Cementitious Masonry Grout

Masonry Grout Filler is a fine grout (as defined by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) that’s composed of Portland cement, natural sand, selected fine aggregates, and special additives. The product contains admixtures (following ASTM C 476, C207, C260) that allow it to meet the fine grout category (which makes it an ideal grout for masonry blocks, masonry units, and cores, as well as a filler behind marble slabs).

Masonry Grout Filler is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags that are ready to use on-site (this only requires adding clean water to produce a pourable grout).

Uses:

  • On cement-based masonry blocks / units, behind marble and cement panels, and on tiles or slabs, etc.
  • Application behind gypsum boards.

Features and Benefits:

  • Factory controlled pre-blend ensures consistently high quality.
  • Requires only the addition of water on-site at the time of use.
  • Suitable for the MENA region’s harsh weather conditions.
  • Easy application with a uniform workflow (this enables high productivity and superior finishing).
  • Strong adhesion.
  • Good mechanical resistance.
  • Excellent workability.
Specification
  • Standard Compliance:

    • ASTM C150, Type I
    • ASTM C207
    • ASTM C260
    • ASTM C404
    • ASTM C476

The MSJC (Masonry Standard Joint Committee) considered the standard ASTM C476 in designing the mix, while ensuring following:

    • Grout slump defines the fluidity and consistency of the mix at 8”- 11”.
    • Grout compressive strength is related to the unit masonry strength f’m (must exceed f’m but must not less than 2,000 psi).
