Pirnar Pivot Collection P_02 Front Door for Houses
P_02 sets a calm, monolithic stone leaf against Pirnar's most ornamental exterior treatment: a laser-cut aluminium lattice screen framing the opening in a fine geometric pattern reminiscent of traditional Middle Eastern mashrabiya work.
The contrast between the quiet leaf and the intricate screen gives architects a pivot door that can act as a full-height, light-filtering façade element as well as an entrance — suited to courtyard houses, desert-modern villas and any project where the entrance sequence itself is part of the architecture.
Designed for year-round performance in climates with cold winters and wet conditions, providing reliable protection against rain, wind, and frost. Equally suited to contemporary villas and residences in warmer climates.
As with every Pirnar PIVOT model, the leaf is built on Pirnar's patented CarbonCore construction — a 129 mm profile built from three chambers, two of them carbon-fibre, several times stronger than steel and engineered to resist warping in both extreme heat and freezing cold — the door scales from 1350 to 2400 mm in width and up to 6000 mm in height without losing rigidity or sealing performance, with RC2 burglary resistance standard on solid, glass-free door leaves.
Air and water tightness are independently tested at IFT Rosenheim (class 4 and 9A respectively, wind load C3).
Concealed heavy-duty hinges carry leaves up to 500 kg with adjustable damper, latch and 90° hold settings, so even the largest configuration opens with complete control. Security and ambience come standard, not as an add-on: every Pivot door includes SmartLux ambient lighting integrated into the recessed handle, a SecuroSmart fingerprint scanner, and full app control — with a SecuroSmart keypad available as a further standard access option.
The base model shown pairs Sintered Stone Mont Blanc with Night Sky Gloss glass and a PVD Volcanic Shadow finish; as an aluminium and sintered-stone pivot front door it suits modern, luxury residences as well as hospitality and select commercial entrances.
