Ekstrands EC/90 is an energy-efficient window that surpasses the most extreme energy saving requirements! The EC/90 window is based on Ekstrands Europa68 window design. The window is inwards opening with dreh-kipp fittings that allow ventilation in the sash. The frame depth has been extended to 90 mm. The sash has 3 sealing strips, which provides excellent climate characteristics. The total U-value for the entire window is 0.80 W/(m²K) which is unique for a wooden window. This is an energy window that fits low energy houses. The Passive house EC/90 Plus+ with a value of 0.77W/(m²K) is a further development of EC/90. The sash and frame has built-in insulation and the window can be delivered as Passive House certified component. Ekstrands can provide calculated U-values for different installation methods for both EC/90 and EC/90 Plus+. The EC/90 is available in audio-class design, called the EC/90 SR46 and has a 46 dB sound reduction. EC/90, EC/90 Plus + and EC/90 SR46 can be supplied with exterior aluminum cladding. If fire rating is needed we offer EC/90 EX with fire rating EI30.
