PURAIN Pre-Filters: Protect Rainwater & Greywater Systems

Self-cleaning PURAIN inlet pre-filters have the highest rainwater capture of clean rainwater with exclusive hydraulic jump technology patented by INTEWA. PURAIN filters are also used in greywater applications. For rainwater applications, PURAIN filters capture every single drop of water up to a high rainfall rate (97% rain falls at low flow rate). In greywater applications, the filter screen is automatically cleaned with the help of a backwash nozzle. PURAIN filters offer connection sizes from 4" (DN100) to 16" (DN400) for installation direct buried below grade, inside a tank, or externally mounted. With PURAIN filters, the incoming water is filtered by gravity through a stainless-steel trapezoidal sieve into the cistern. Debris collects in a depression behind the sieve until it is flushed to the overflow by hydraulic jump which happens during a heavy rain event.
