Oberon™ In-Plane™ Recessed Mounts 1040-FL

Oberon™ In-Plane™ Recessed Mounts 1040-FL is an economical cloud/canopy/suspended ceiling mounting kit for most vendors’ Wi-Fi APs and antennas. A cutout is made in the ceiling panel, the panel bridge is placed above the ceiling panel, and the AP or antenna is attached to the white detachable trim. AP/antenna/trim assembly is then drawn into the panel bridge with a torsion spring, much like a recessed lighting fixture, with only the front face exposed for optimal wireless coverage.

The AP trim is easily swapped for new trim when AP brand or model changes. With the 1040-FL and 1040-FLRD, the AP or antenna is attached inside the panel bridge on a universal mounting plate. A low-profile ABS plastic cover fastens to the panel bridge with torsion springs, concealing the AP and creating an aesthetic, paintable recessed installation.

- Performance: UL listed for low voltage applications and designed to meet NEC300-22 and 300-23 for plenum installations
- AP/antenna trim is interchangeable for other APs or antennas. Trim attaches with torsion springs
- Model 1040-FL and -FLRD only: ABS plastic cover is paintable and is virtually transparent to wireless signals. Plastic covers are interchangeable with other Oberon vendor specific AP trims
- Adjustable hanger wire to support enclosure and installed equipment independent of the ceiling system
- Construction: 20 ga. galvanized steel panel bridge, white powder coated steel trims. Model 1040-FL and -FLRD only: UL 94-5VA ABS Plastic cover
