ARDEX K 15 Microtec - Rapid-Drying Self-Levelling Smoothing Compound

ARDEX K15 Microtec is extremely versatile, is suitable for a wide range of substrates and is able to receive virtually any floor covering in 16 to 18 hours.

Floor Coverings:

Linoleum, vinyl, carpet
Ceramic and quarry tiles
Timber – parquetry and floating

Substrates:

New, existing or rough screeded concrete
Rain damaged concrete which has been mechanically prepared
Existing quarry and ceramic tile
Steel decking (contact ARDEX Technical Services)
Timber floors (contact ARDEX Technical Services)
Damp or moisture vulnerable concrete when used in conjunction with an ARDEX moisture control system

Specification

Powder bulk density : approx. 1.3kg/L Fresh mortar weight : approx. 2.0kg/L Walkability : approx. 2 – 3 hours after application Ready to receive ﬂoor coverings : 16 – hours after application at 23°C Compressive Strength: After 28 days approx. 30MPa Tensile Bending Strength : After 28 days approx. 10MPa Ball Pressure Hardness : After 28 days approx. 60MPa
