The awning-parallel opening window is a structure based on aluminium profiles with a thermal break. Among its most essential advantages are cost-efficient profiles giving lightness to the whole construction, which is particularly important in the view from the inside. The structure of the awning-parallel opening window has been designed in two glazing options. Standard glazing with an external strip. Application of the glazing strip has eliminated the necessity of structural gluing and emphasizes the outline of the window.
Due to the application of structural glazing technology involving gluing the external pane to the aluminium frame with the use of structural silicone, application of aluminium elements on the outside is not needed, which causes that the line of the façade on the outside is uniform and parallel opening windows are in no way different from the adjacent fixed areas. Full guarantee in respect of resistance and durability of the silicone joint is granted by the company performing structural gluing of glass panes to aluminium profiles. Insulating glass units are to be installed in the awning-parallel-opening window, as provided in the design.
In order to attain the highest performance with regard to thermal and sound insulation, the newest technical solutions of thermal breaks and glazing gaskets have been introduced. Furthermore, very efficient ventilation and drainage system has been designed, which ensures long-lasting and failure-free operation of the window. In order to cut down the costs related to re-working of profiles, special grooves have been designed in aluminium sections, which allows time efficient installation of friction stays mechanisms and multi-point locking hardware. The grooves have been standardized, hence application of any hardware manufactured by renowned European companies is possible.
