Polystyrene Door Casing 457 - White

The door casing 457 leaves the factory painted in white. It is made of a raw material called polystyrene, also known as EPS. This door casing is part of Santa Luzia's Modern Line, which is composed of other products, such as: wall baseboards, chair rails/ trims, crown mouldings and accessories, such as: finishing transtion and corner mouldings, plinth blocks and rosettes. The mouldings are ecological and sustainable, as 96% of their raw material comes from the recycling of STYROFOAM® residues. In addition, once the mouldings reach the end of their useful life, they can be recycled and transformed into raw material again. This door casing has some interesting features that differentiate it from other products in its category such as: it does not mold, does not rot, is immune to pests and termites, and is water resistant, meaning it can be used in humid environments such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms. Its use is for indoor environments only. The bars measure approximately 8 linear feet in length, 3 15/16" in height and have a thickness of 5/8".
