119 gallon storage tank

Residential / commercial glass-lined 119G storage tank

Specification

Construction
The tank shall be manufactured from mild steel with
a baked on Cobalt enriched porcelain glass lining
Tank outer shell shall be steel with a baked on
powder coating for protection
The ECO-119GLBB Tank is only certified for Indoor
installation, it should not be located external to the building

Insulation
2" of High R value foam insulation will be sprayed on to the
bare shell of the tank to reduce heat loss

Connections
Connections to the Hot and Cold building supplies shall be
1 1/2" NPT Female type
Connections to the Hot and Cold piping to the Heat Pump
shall be 3/4" NPT Female type
Cold Water Piping from Storage Tank to Heat Pump
and return of Hot Water piping from Heat Pump to Tank
shall be 1/2" Copper or PEX.
2 of 4" long 3/4" Male x 3/4" Male connections will be boxed
which shall be located at the base of the ECO-119GLBB
2 x Magnesium anode rods shall be installed internally

Controls
The tank shall be supplied with a Temperature sensor
installed in a sensor well to control the GS5-45HPC & -D
Additional GS Heat Pumps connected to a tank shall
require an individual Temperature sensor
Tank Sensor wiring to the GS Heat Pump will be 18-2AWG
Two additional Thermowells are supplied with the Tank at
the Top and Bottom levels of the Tank so that a Controller
to provide Demand Response signals can be used

Pressure and Temperature Relief
Tank shall be supplied with a factory installed
ASME certified Pressure and Temperature Relief valve
Settings shall be at 150 Psig for Presssure and
210°F for Temperature
