Glazing Panel Solutions (formerly Vitral A74 and A98 Roof Glazing)

The development of A98 roof glazing, which is based on A74, has resulted in a series of unique features. With A98 having a U-value of just 0.79 W/m²K we have created the most sustainable glass roof system available. The slim frames and shallow profiles combined with a total panel area of up to 3 m² ensure an extraordinary amount of natural light. The concealed opening mechanism along with the opening motors which are embedded in the frame makes A98 roof glazing one of the most beautiful glass roof systems and provides a natural ventilation system. The profiles are made of thermally broken aluminium. A98 is adjustable according to measures. Concealed vents are available from module width 651 mm to 1200 mm maximum. Specification

U-value - 0.79 W/m²K for the complete framed panel. Glass - 0.5 W/m²K. Glass types - A98 is supplied with triple glazed super low 'e' coated units, with warm edge spacers and argon filled cavities. A range of multi-coated solar control options are available to suit the project. Concealed opening mechanism - It is possible for every second panel to be a vent. From the outside all panels have a uniform appearance and it is not possible to distinguish between vents and fixed panels. Roof glazing variants - A98 is available as single pitch, double pitch an pyramid roof lights, with a wide range of options for gables, multi-tier, valleys and hips. A98 may also be installed vertically. Certifications - A98 is CE marked in accordance with BS/EN14351-1. Materials - A98 is made of glass, aluminium, plastic and rubber. The frame profiles are thermally broken with an embedded PUR core. All materials are recyclable. Colours - A98 is available in a natural anodised or polyester powder coated finish, in the RAL colour of your choice. Concealed motor for opening - Actuator embedded within panels as standard. Panels may also be opened using surface mounted actuators. A98 is adjustable according to measures. Concealed vents are available from module width 651 mm to 1200 mm maximum. Dimensions - Profile dimensions – Height 98 mm, Width 52 mm. Panel dimensions – Height 260-3500 mm, Width 260-1800 mm under certain circimstances. Panel area: Max. 3.0 m². Installation slopes – pitched: 15°-90° gabled: 25°-60°.
