Door Dective® CL

The Door Detective is a doorway-mounted detection and direction control system ideal for any access-controlled area where an intruder could cause damage or theft. The technology detects tailgating, directional violations, and intruders by preventing someone from taking advantage of a closing door. The Door Detective access control solution monitors, detects, and alerts if a breach has occurred. Additionally, an optional secondary relay can also activate subsequent actions, such as triggering CCTV or locking doors.

The Door Detective Classic or CL beams can rotate to extend across hallways without door jam mounting. It includes an internal CPU with an external 12VDC power supply that will monitor the passage of people and objects through the doorway once the door is unlocked or opened. Powered by a dedicated high-speed onboard micro-controller with proven optical systems, it's the most accurate and cost-effective solution to monitor movement through an access-controlled door.

Door Detective should be considered for any interior area where an intruder could slip through unnoticed, such as server rooms, data centers, pharmaceutical storage, laboratories, corporate offices, campus facilities, retail spaces, distribution centers, and even gyms (among other industries).
