8.1.2 FAÇADE - Twin frame

Pladur® EXO façade consisting of a double independent galvanized steel frame. The exterior frame is composed by Pladur® EXO M studs (vertical elements) and Pladur® EXO C tracks (horizontal elements). The interior frame is composed by Pladur® studs and Pladur® tracks. Both frames are installed with a minimum separation of 10 mm between them. A 12.5 mm Pladur® Weather Defence plasterboard is screwed on the exterior frame. Two Pladur® boards are screwed on the interior frame. Includes proportional Pladur® materials: screws, joint compounds, joint tapes, perimeter sealing joints, etc., as well as anchors for tracks on floor and ceiling. The interior lining is fully finished to Level of Finish 1 (Q1) for tile cladding, laminates, battens, etc., and also to Level 2 (Q2), Level 3 (Q3), Level 4 (Q4) for higher decorative finishes. The cavity of both frames is filled with mineral wool insulation. Installation must follow Pladur® technical recommendations, Technical Conformity TC-116647, and CTE requirements, according to the intended system use.
