ARDEX DS 40 - Impact Sound Reduction and Decoupling System

ARDEX DS 40 is an acoustic mat designed to effectively reduce the transmission of impact sound.
ARDEX DS 40 can be installed onto various substrates prior to the direct application of tiles, slabs, natural stone and concrete pavers.

  • Provides crack bridging function
  • Pre-cut mats - simplify handling and installation
  • Low build height - minimum of 4.5mm
  • Tile over directly with ARDEX adhesives

Substrates:

  • Concrete, sand/cement screed
  • Heated screeds
  • Dry screed systems
  • Wooden floors and wooden particleboard
  • Old tiles and slabs
