Vetotop XT539 is a cementitious floor dressing material composed of hydraulic binders, selected hard-wearing aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site. Vetotop XT539 is applied by the dry shake method to provide a hard-wearing top surface that bonds monolithically to the concrete flooring. It is ideal for all industrial areas subjected to heavy traffic, such as power stations, heavy industry, agricultural buildings, distillation plants, laboratories, abattoirs, warehouse floors, loading bays, and workshops.
The system comprises:
- Layer 1: Substrate - Concrete Slab
- Layer 2: Dry-shake floor hardener - Vetotop XT539 - Non-metallic emery-based dry-shake monolithic floor hardener
Uses:
- Enhancing concrete floor surface properties.
- Provide an abrasion-resistant concrete floor surface.
- Fiber suppressant of concrete floors.
- Enhance the durability of concrete floors.
- Dust-proofing of concrete slabs.
Features and benefits:
- Premixed, ready to use, offering factory-controlled quality assurance.
- Ease of application.
- High abrasion and impact resistance.
- Bonds monolithically to fresh concrete.
- No-dusting surface.
- Non-oxidizing.
- Slip-resistant finish.
- Provides a hard, dense surface resistant to oils and petroleum-based products.
- Suitable for internal and external use.
- Economic installation.
Design Criteria:
Use a properly designed non-bleeding concrete mix of required strength, with a minimum cement content of 300 Kg and a slump of 75 mm and not more than 3% entrained air. The surface is then floated with a wooden or aluminum float. After casting, remove any bleeding water from the concrete.
